  LG ha lanzado al mercado la serie Optimus. Los dos primeros teléfonos de la gama son LG Optimus One y LG Optimus Chic ambos incorporan la última versión del sistema operativo de Google (Android 2.2 - Froyo), que hace más ágil y más rápida la navegación por Internet, así como la optimización de gran parte de los servicios de Google Mobile (Voice Search, Google Shopper, Maps, etc)
El Optimus One cuenta con pantalla táctil capacitiva de 3,2 “, una resolución de 320x480 y un peso de 129 gramos.
